You are cordially invited to join us for the Glenn Bowers Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund on Friday July 20, 2012
As a member of the "greatest generation", Glenn contributed greatly to America's efforts in World War II by flying 28 combat missions in the South Pacific with the famed VMF 214 Blacksheep Squadron. Glenn flew an additional 58 combat missions with other squadrons in the Pacific theater. This highly decorated Marine pilot also served as Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Game Commission for 17 years.
We will have a great day of golf at the Range End Golf Club in Dillsburg, PA (www.rangeendgolfclub.com). The event will include a 4-person scramble, special contests, dinner and awards receptions following golf.
Register before July 1, 2012 to receive the "early bird" discount and golf towel made just for this event. You may register as an individual or as a foursome.
We intend to honor the memory of a great Marine fighter pilot and raise funds for the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Let's have a great event to assist our wounded Marines and their families. For more information regarding this outstanding organization, please visit their website.
If you are not a golfer or you are unable to attend the tournament, but would like to offer financial support to our injured U.S. Marines, please consider a donation to this worthy cause. Many of these courageous men and women receive devastating injuries which are serious, life-altering events. Let's do what we can to help. Freedom isn't free. All donations are welcome and your generosity is greatly appreciated. Semper Fi!
